It’s what provides us with the opportunity to be of service to our customers. We buck today’s trend… we will answer the phone or return your call in a very prompt manor. After all, we appreciate the fact that you considered Plymouth Bay Associates to help you with your sewage disposal system needs.
A GREAT FOUNDATION.
Whether it’s a family, building, business or a great design, a good and strong foundation matters. The foundation of a sewage disposal system design is the topographic survey. There are a few simple methods of producing a plan that shows the contour elevations of the site which are utilized as the base plan on which to design a sewage system, whether it be for new construction or to upgrade an outdated or failed system.
Plymouth Bay Associates utilizes a state-of-the- art scanning total station which records millions of points in the same area most surveyors will record a half dozen, thus providing the client with a complete and more accurate base or “foundation” on which to design.
THE WAIT.
A long wait can be a good thing if you are getting a root canal, but if you are dealing with a failed septic system or carrying costs, time matters. Upon receiving an authorization to proceed, Plymouth Bay Associates will provide you with sewage disposal system plans in days, not weeks. We will keep you enlightened as to our progress and be happy to respond should you have any questions.
OUR PRODUCT.
Our innovative product is designed to provide ease of use for the contractor, health agent and client. Plans are compact, easy to read and handle. Our drawings are bound in booklet form, provide complimenting data on adjoining pages, and fit easily into a file folder. Legibility is key. We utilize easy-to-read fonts, precise scale, and color for ease of understanding. Above all, our designs offer a fantastic tool to the sewage disposal system installer. If the plans are complete, accurate and simpler to follow, the likelihood of construction errors is virtually eliminated, meaning a faster installation, which translates into more profit and happier clientele.
ENVIRONMENT.
Every so often, the work necessary to perform a sewage disposal system upgrade or new installation falls within the jurisdiction of the municipal Conservation Commission. Plymouth Bay Associates works with the most reputable Wetland Scientists. We will coordinate with them early in the design process to delineate wetland resource areas so that the wetland delineation can be located at the time the topographic survey is performed saving the need to revisit the site at additional cost. The sewage disposal system plans can be modified to perform dual functions, being suitable for submission to the municipal board of health as well as the conservation commission and Department of Environmental Protection, of which in most circumstances, representation at a public hearing is necessary. Plymouth Bay Associates has the knowledge and experience to prepare the necessary application packages and provide representation at public hearings and site visits.
EPILOGUE.
Our services conclude in performing as-built surveys to ensure the end user and municipal board of health that the sanitary disposal system was constructed per the approved plans in both component and final grades. Record drawings (As-Built Plans) are prepared and submitted for approval by the municipal board of health. Once approved, you can go on enjoying your new sanitary disposal system with confidence in the fact that it was constructed properly.
